Wooosh! Yes, yes I know, its Sunday, and Phylix usually dishes out Relax and Laugh on Saturdays, but guess what? I’m not Phylix! I’m Detanfy! That’s right folks! Its Detanfy in the hizzile, here to serve up that Relax and Laugh-izzle that you all need. Its quite obvious by now that I’m a little bit nervous, seeing as it is my first time taking the reigns on the prestigious RnL segment, after all. Performance issues are bound to happen! Its not uncommon; one in every five men even! But firstly, I should explain Phylix’ absence from this weeks RnL; nothing to fear, dear readers, Phylix is A-OKAY! He has been wired out the past few days (something about a Mami Water in his shower, IDK about that…..), so I offered to cover him and do something a little bit outta my usual forte. What better than Relax and Laugh? We’ve all had a tough week, some of us have been having tough months, others a really tough year, so its extra appreciated if we can all stop to smell the roses, kick back, chill with a beer or cool drink in hand, listen to Dr. Sids Chocolate and just Relax and Laugh!

Baam! Kabloom! She-pow! Woohaa! Oh yeah! It’s another of those days we get to goof off in front of our computers because it’s just what we do and Dancil called it up after we let our flows die out for a while! It’s Saturday! And I woke up at about 2 PM because I slept off at about 6:30 AM… all because I was trying to fix some things. The last 24 hours have been frustration filled in several accounts, and because of how selfish I am I’ve decided to calm myself down and look at some funny webcomics and just laugh my buttocks off. Because I can.
But…! You’re in luck!, as you all will benefit from this selfless act of selfishness of mine. I’m not making any sense? Huzzah. Don’t shoot the messenger because he/she may have sex with your spouse, then you have a reason to do away with both of them and hide their bodies as trophies in your personal collection. Wait… no one does that? I eh… I… let’s move on okay?

What’s more graceful than cheese and pizza? I don’t know. I’ve never had cheese and pizza in one mix before. In fact the last time I had cheese was probably a year before the last time I had pizza, which doesn’t really make sense to me considering I can’t remember the last time I had pizza. I’m very picky when it comes to pizza, and even though pizza is not a vegetable it shouldn’t be treated with contempt. What has this got to do with unicorns you asked? Besides the TMNT and yours truly, unicorns adore pizza and diamond crusted diamonds with soda. It’s why unicorn piss is always so shiny and twinkly like. You didn’t know that did you? You’re not very attentive then. Unicorn piss has been used in a variety of antidotes from witchcraft and wizardry to conjuring up spirits to just plain trolling fairies. Get your trivia right. Who’s up for some coffee and chocolate milk combined? Relax and laugh at what the Internet has birthed.

Relax And Laugh [Video Edition]

Men. The way time has been against us these past weeks of January is insane. I mean, come on.. it’s January. Should everything be this tight and heavy with the beginning of a new year? Shouldn’t there be some slack to ease us into the year’s workings? As it stands, I’m already getting burned out and February is still about 2 weeks and some days away.
Sigh…
With the intensity of things, we present you with a video edition of R&L. Understand, the normal version of R&L involves lots of sifting through several web comics just so we can pick out those that would be palatable. I’m not saying that we through away stuff because they’re boring, oh Lord no. To start a webcomic alone takes work, and to actually make it funny even greater work. We completely appreciate what the works of the artists that we feature on this segment. The point I’m trying to make is that there are some jokes that several people may not get, and sometimes you’d have to have watched some shows or a movie or played a game or read a book to understand what the intended joke/pun is. So, to cross this boundary takes some major going through lots of webcomics. It’s not a perfect thing, and I’m pretty sure we’ve featured several strips that lots of people didn’t get.
Now, the time for the sifting isn’t available, so in the wake of this and to draw your attention to more works that also need some appreciation and recognition, allow me to share with you a few videos in the spirit of R&L. Of course, we own none of the rights to any of them.

It’s a new month y’all, and it’s the month that has the end of the world’s date in it. So while we await the 21st (I wonder what Santa’s gonna do…) we can look back on the year as a whole and see how well we did with it. Me? I messed up pretty bad. So if I don’t survive the reconstruction of the planet Earth (which, under the circumstances is pretty much what could happen) I could die a sad, sad, sad very sad poor guy. Now that I think of it, I may be better off packing up all the chips and fries and Pringles and sodas and see how much weight I can pack up together before the 21st arrives here.
And for all you goody two shoes that have done so much, I look at you with contempt. Yes… you’ve done so much and I’ve done so little, I look back and I just want to tear my hair apart and bite on a blade then eat some glass because that’s all my worth is currently at the moment. I can’t even pass a single milestone and I claim to be someone who can think? WHY DOES IT HAVE TO BE SO HARD??? THERE’S NO POINT TO LIVE ANYMORE! THERE’S NO REASON OH MY GOD WHAT IS HAPPENING WHY AM I JUST REALIZING THIS RIGHT NOW I WANT TO CURL UP AND JUST EAT SOME RAT POISON AND SING POISON TO MYSELF OH GOD WHY OH WHY OH WHY D:

I don’t even know where to begin how to to start this part.. but I suppose it has to commence one way or the other. I can’t apologize enough for the reign of inactivity that has plagued us for quite a while now… it’s been completely unwarranted and yet it’s been like a part of us for the small (albeit lengthy) duration it has brandished its blank head.
We’ve been busy, or been busy trying to get out of being busy, or been so busy that we’re busy trying to sort out how busy we can be in one day. All attempts have significantly failed. It all boils down to one thing.. why does there have to be work man? School work, homework, hospital work, office work, project work, WORK work!? Whyyyyy?? We should like stick it to The Man and say NO! We will do so such thing! And then we’d all be free and be able to go to the store with our pee-jays on while wondering over and over ‘What have we done???’ and then we have no money and begin to starve and create a post-apocalyptic world were food is king!… Or we could just shut it and resume work and not let any of this happen.

One this week, none the next. Another the following, and nada on the fourth. Is that the new schedule you ask? Oh Lord I hope not. But so far it’s seemed that way, and not entirely my fault. Who’s to blame here….? Destiny.
Blabbings aside though, it’s another Saturday; grant me the honor of reminding you about that. So with another Saturday it’s time to stare at the computer screen and see what the interwebz has in store with regards to funny webcomics. This should be a blast for us all, I haven’t checked out the regulars this week myself.

Another R&L start with Cyanide & Happiness. Then we’ve got Omocat (a really cool tumblr) gracing our screens with some Zelda funnies. 5 Minute .JPGS (a facebook page actually) is responsible for our next entry, and angimoto gives us the lovely Snake-Otacon piece. mattmoylan (another graceful tumblr) is next with the classic Bomberman, and Dueling Analogs follows up. FanBoys. Yeah… that’s a lot. Took me about an hour and a half to get this all together, time to read something or something like that.

Before I begin prancing around and strutting my stuff, I have to sincerely apologize for the absence of last week’s Relax And Laugh. Yeah. I’ve not been doing too well in the past days, and I’d say I’m recovering, but so far I’ve been having this rebounding effect like a ball bouncing in a continuous loop; so at a point I could be okay and at another point I’d be worse off than I started. I would blame it on several things, but let’s just say it’s a little in my mind and out of my mind… so it’s a complicated mass of intertwined things I can’t particularly lay out just yet.
Anyhoo, it’s another Saturday and you know the deal. Make sure you’re constantly clicking and sharing because it’s time for another round of giggles, chuckles and laughing out loudness.

Cyanide & Happiness leads the pack today. Then we’ve got Dueling Analogs, TimeCowBoy (a tumblr by the way), our dear Optical Overload, early pioneer of R&L ExtraLife, new comer DamnLOL and White Ninja. I should get used to this kind of comedy. It’s refreshing. But don’t get too used to the huge amounts of webcomics, that may not be a regular thing this summer.

Relax And Laugh

It never left, just a little vaca-ca. It’s the one section some of you never want to miss, and I never enjoy missing. Of course, I did miss it yesterday… but that was because we were expecting a rather big ‘un to become published. Although it didn’t, so we were all left with staring at the ‘Add New Post’ section here at the Dancing Silhouettes HQ. But heck that, Relax And Laugh is here bebe. Forget that it’s Sunday and tomorrow begins the start of Monday. Forget all that, just relax and laugh (or chuckle, or giggle, or sniffle whatever) to these webcomics from over the web.

Alright! We’ve got a whooper here. Everything begins with Nedroid, with Cyanide & Happiness coming next. Two Guys and Guy – a new series I happen to stumble upon not long ago – follows up, with R&L regular Dinosaur Comics coming in after. xkcd comes in next, followed by the lovely Awkward Zombie and finally Hopeless Empty Abyss.
Okay then, that’s a wrap-up!

Relax And Laugh

Can you believe it? Hell yeah you can believe it. Relax And Laugh is here once again because once again this is another Saturday once again with our regular column hitting your screens once again! Okay, I’ll stop with the continuous repetitions of the word and go with ‘Hulaa Baloo and Howdy Do folks?’ It’s been one hell of a ride for all of us, and coming back I’ve seen hay roll off the streets of this blog a few times now. Of course, the ghost town is about to become inhabited soon so we don’t particularly have to keep fearing the return of phantom sheriffs anytime soon.
But is there really any need to yap on about anything now? No! Relax And Laugh, let’s enjoy!

For this round, xkcd leads the pack, followed by Cyanide & Happiness, Nedroid and Dinosaur Comics. Next time, the list could end up being more diverse and more open. And don’t go claiming round that we own or have any rights to any of this stuff, we’re affiliated only by the giggles and relief we get from them all.
