You know what’s better than acing a test? Acing a test and coming back to check the full details about a very much anticipated game. Oh yeah, that’s right people, we have a winner in today’s take on trailers.
God of War gets a new story in the line of other GoWs, and not only did this rise from speculations and rumours, Sony has officially announced a new God of War coming to the Playstation 3. Isn’t that great? Now I don’t have to weep and think of how I’m going to get an Orbis just to play this game. I ain’t no Gandhi you know. The new entry is called God of War: Ascension, and not IV as earlier rumuored.
Amazon put up the game’s box art and a trailer. No gameplay in this trailer, but Gaia’s voice (that we all love as our narrator’s) is heard describing a story that seems to be a prequel to the other five (yes five) God of War games. I won’t say I’m disappointed there, afterall my mind had gone with another prequel coming up, although I couldn’t quite imagine where the story would come from.
According to Sony, Ascension “will be the most ambitious God of War adventure in the series yet, and would take us back to where it all began”. Meaning we probably will get more backstory on Kratos’ life. Frankly, I’d like to see how it all turns out.
